A workshop to discuss the humanitarian needs of 2018
A workshop was held today in the United Nations Headquarters in the meeting hall of the Office of Humanitarian Affairs to discuss the humanitarian needs of Saada and Al-Jawf governorate in the field of (water and environmental sanitation, education, protection, shelter and non-food items.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the local authority from the two governorates (Planning and International Cooperation – Education – Rural Water – Water Foundation – Executive Unit – Humanitarian Committee), cluster coordinators in United Nations organizations and agencies and representatives from local and international organizations.
Priorities were identified in the humanitarian needs of Sa’ada and Al-Jawf governorates.
The ASADSC participated in the workshop in the sectors of (water, environmental sanitation, protection, education, shelter and non-food items) to identify the urgent humanitarian needs necessary for those affected, IDPs persons and returnees from displacement in order to meet these needs in 2018 and avoid the negatives that have occurred in the current year.
