distributed (720) health kits in the area of Walad Abd al-Shamiyah sub-district in Munabih border district in Saada governorate, in partnership with Oxfam – financing the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), in cooperation with the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Saada.
project coordinator, confirmed that the distribution of health kits in the area of Walad Abd al-Shamiyah sub-district in Munabih border district, is part of the activities of the “emergency aid project in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene in Munabih district.”
The project coordinator indicated that the distribution of health bags aims to contribute to improving health by providing health kits for the targeted families.
He pointed out that the project includes the rehabilitation of two water wells in the area of Walad Abd al-Shamiyah sub-district in Munabih border district, the supply, installation and operation of two pumping units with two solar energy systems, the supply and extension of a water network from wells to four miniature water tanks and four points for distributing water in the targeted residential neighborhoods, pointing out that the project includes a community awareness team about diseases and epidemics and how to prevent them and limit their spread in the targeted areas.
